To implement the supramolecular material he invented as a researcher at the University of Tokyo into society, he established ASM Corporation, a venture company originating from the University of Tokyo, where he served as CTO and Vice President for 10 years. He developed new products in various fields using this world-first new material and obtained dozens of patents. He has also worked with many companies and research institutions on joint development projects. Since 2017, he has been in charge of industry-academia collaboration as Director of International Relations at the University of Tokyo's Industry-Academia Collaboration Promotion Division, where he contributed as a founding mentor in the establishment of start-up companies from the University of Tokyo.

Since joining SHCCIG Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd. in 2018, Yang has been involved in business planning, technology development and human resources management. While working on many new technology development projects, she has taken technological challenges head-on, fostering an organisational culture of innovation and further improving the company's research and development capabilities. She participated in the founding of Institute of SGC Industrial Technology Co., Ltd. in 2020 and was appointed vice-president of the company in April 2023.

HOMMA has over 30 years of experience at a medium-sized Japanese chemical manufacturer, where he played a pivotal role in business expansion through research and development initiatives. Building on his prior experience, including his tenure at a Chinese R&D company, he joined our organization in May 2025, bringing with him a wealth of international industrial experience. In particular, he specializes in surface and colloid chemistry, with a long-standing focus on developing surfactant-based products. Earlier in his career, he also spearheaded initiatives in the development and commercialization of nanocarbon materials and energy storage technologies, positioning himself as a leader in future-oriented innovation. Currently, he is working to contribute to society by discovering useful technologies. As part of his current mission, he is dedicated to advancing societal well-being by identifying impactful technologies and promoting clean, sustainable materials.
Xiaoyuan WEN

Graduated from Kobe University with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. After working in the business management departments of a major musical instrument manufacturer and a foreign energy company, she moved to her current position.
While making the most of the individuality of a Chinese company despite being a Japanese subsidiary, she strives daily to create an environment where employees can develop themselves along with the company's steady growth.
